Choco — the food wholesale platform building a global digital food system to eliminate food waste —, announced today that Cassandra Bowman has joined as the company’s Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Cassie brings a powerful combination of technical depth and business operational experience to build a world-class product culture at Choco.

Cassie joins Choco with close to 15 years of strategy experience in product management, advertising, and analytics. Most recently, Cassie served as Director of Product at Spotify, where she led the strategy and execution for Spotify’s advertising platform. In this role, she was responsible for the development of Ad Studio, Spotify’s self-service buying platform, the suite of Spotify’s advertising APIs, data and analytics products, and Spotify’s family of advertising formats. This breadth of experience will help Choco to solidify and strengthen the collaboration and synergies across departments including: engineering, design, product marketing, and operations.

Cassie joins after several silicon-valley high profile technology leaders have joined choco. Earlier this year Vikas Gupta joined as CTO after over 10 years at facebook and Uber. Carolin Steurer, Director of Product at Choco recently joined from Dropbox in San Francisco.
